‘The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers’: Lauren Graham, Josh Duhamel hit the ice for season 2 on Disney+!

Josh Duhamel joins the Disney+ series “The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers” as the new coach.

He is a former NHL player who runs an intensive summer hockey institute. Don’t you dare call it a camp!

Lauren Graham returns as the mother of one of the ducks, and now she is accompanying the team as they head from Minnesota to California. They think they are going to a fun hockey camp, but soon realize that their new coach, played by Duhamel, is very strong and focused. Graham says that in real life Duhamel is nothing but fun.

“He’s someone I liked and I admired, and we really enjoyed it together,” Graham said.

The series focuses on hockey, a sport that Duhamel played as a child.

“You know, I’m from North Dakota. You kind of have to play hockey if you grew up there. So I played all the way up to seventh grade, I haven’t played in about 33 years,” Duhamel said. “It was like getting the game back. I rekindled my love for the game. Now I feel like I can get back on the ice again without completely embarrassing myself.”

Graham would love the chance to play “Mother of the Hen” again for this group of athletes who would like to become. And yes, art imitates life.

“I love these kids, and I’m afraid they’re taking their losses seriously. I’m worried about this new challenge. This character is a concern. And I just want the best for them,” Graham said. “And that’s true in real life too. We really bonded.”

As the series progresses, expect to see some bonding between the two main characters.

“It’s not an obvious romance,” Duhamel said. “But it’s a fun way.”

“The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers” is now streaming on Disney+.

Disney is the parent company of this ABC station.
